A face externa do cálice não contém imagens. No interior há três inscrições do tipo “καλός” em caracteres áticos arcaicos: ΛΕΑΓΡΟΣ ΚΑΛΟΣ, ‘Leagros (é) belo’ e ΑΘΕΝΟΔΟΤΟΣ ΚΑΛΟΣ, ‘Atenodoto (é) belo’, em volta do sátiro; ΚΑΛΟΣ, ‘(é) belo’, no corpo da ânfora.
